Beginning in April and running through October, Greenville hosts weekly and recurring outdoor events and concerts. Music, movies, market stalls and more are open to the public throughout the "Series Season." All events are free. Details for each event are available online and through local listings.

Return to the Green
Each March, the City of Greenville Parks and Recreation Departments sponsors an annual family celebration of Irish culture. Located in Falls Park, this one-day event occurs the Sunday prior to St. Patrick’s Day. In 2008, the celebration will be held from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 9, and will include live Celtic music, bagpipes, Irish food and drink and a variety of children’s activities. Bring your lawn chairs and a picnic supper and sit back and enjoy a variety of musical concerts featuring jazz, country, patriotic, rock & roll, blues and reggae. Downtown Alive!

The Upstate Shakespeare Festival (USF) celebrates its eleventh summer of presenting free productions of Shakespeare’s classic plays in beautiful Falls Park.
