general information
Applications are kept on file for one year and may be considered for future vacancies at applicant’s request. Applicants may be required to present specific licenses, permits, or certifications as a condition of employment.
The starting salary may be negotiable up to market value, based on the selected candidate’s qualifications. Equivalent combinations of experience and education may be considered in place of degree requirements for some positions.
All final candidates are required to pass both a pre-employment physical and drug test.

Our office is open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and is located on the second floor of City Hall at 206 South Main Street in Greenville.
4. By Mail
Submit a resume with cover letter for each position. Your cover letter must include the name of the position for which the City of Greenville is advertising for.
